Delete your FlashKit account

In short
You can delete your FlashKit account, and everything backed up to it, at any time from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent: there is no grace period, no trash, and no way back. The decks on your phone are not erased.
From the app
Open FlashKit and go to Account (the right-hand tab). Tap the card with your name on it, scroll to the Danger zone and tap Delete my account. You will be asked to type the account's email address to confirm, which is the only guard in front of an irreversible action. The account is gone as soon as you confirm.
If you no longer have the app
Write to contact@flashkit.io from the account's email address, with "account deletion" as the subject. We check that the account is yours, delete it, and confirm by reply, within thirty days at the outside and usually within a few working days.
What gets deleted
Your account and sign-in credentials, including the link to your Google account if you had one. Every deck, card and tag backed up online. Your review history, experience points and streaks. Your push tokens. Any prompts and files sent for card generation, if they had not already been deleted after seventy-two hours. None of it is kept online after deletion.
What does not get deleted
The decks, cards, images and recordings on your device are untouched: they are yours, the app works without an account, and deleting an online backup should not cost you your work. To erase those too, uninstall the app or clear its data from your system settings. Anonymous usage statistics, which are tied to no account, cannot be traced back to you and remain in aggregate form. Finally, we keep whatever the law requires us to keep, an invoice for a purchase for example.
